In aice media studies we just finished our portfolio for Cambridge, and I'm really proud of my work. This has inspired me to start a next project for summer, and I think that it would be a lot of fun to make. I spoke to my aunt Ingrid as of yesterday, and she agreed to help me with this fun summer project. After watching a lot of projects for this year's class of 2015-2016, I was really impressed with the ones that were in the genre of drama. For example, one of my classmates decided to base hers off a teen girl struggling, and it really reminded me of " The perks of being a wallflower". That was such an amazing movie! Basically, after watching the opening for her film, I got the chills. I want to base my story off of teen struggles. One of the major struggles that a lot of adolescent girls go through is anorexia. It has been a non stop problem for a really long time, especially in this generation. The ideas of beauty is to have the perfect face, hair, and body. They're definitely wrong, but many girls don't see that. I want to experiment with this idea and see where it goes from here because I believe that this can actually turn out great. I also believe that if people watch this, they'll be aware that this is a very serious problem and that it shouldn't be ignored.
